Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: April 1 at Denver Nuggets

Major key for Denver – Punish the Bucks from deep
It’s not unusual for opposing teams to hurt the Bucks from behind the three-point line, in fact, average three-point shooting teams have managed to do so with great regularity.
The Clippers are an excellent recent example as, in spite of being a middle of the pack three-point shooting team, they shot greater than 50 percent from deep against the Bucks twice in the space of eight days.
The Nuggets are much better than an average shooting team, though, and their personnel and the style of play they employ should lead to plenty of opportunities for them to pull the Bucks out of position defensively.
At 37.4 percent from three-point range on the season overall, the Nuggets rank fifth in the NBA in terms of percentage from distance.
That strong and consistent shooting is fueled by a wide range of key rotation players who can make shots from distance with great regularity. Although the Nuggets have no single 40 percent three-point shooter, Gary Harris, Nikola Jokic, Trey Lyles, Jamal Murray, Will Barton and Paul Millsap all shoot better than 36 percent, while Wilson Chandler is just below that mark at 35.8.
The Bucks will have their work cut out in limiting Denver’s attack from distance.
