Major key for Milwaukee – Keep building momentum

While there have been ups and downs of late, one of the overwhelming positives to come from Milwaukee’s recent play has been the performance levels of the team’s three biggest stars.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe have all been central to the best and worst moments of the Bucks’ season, but as the playoffs near, all three players seem to be finding another level to their performance.

In particular, Antetokounmpo, Middleton and Bledsoe’s shooting efficiency has soared of late.

Antetokounmpo (.560/.391/.776) and Bledsoe (.561/.398/.786) boast near identical shooting splits for their last 10 games, which provide plenty of cause for encouragement for two players not necessarily known as great shooters, while having struggled with his shot for much of the year, there’s also of evidence of Khris Middleton (.475/.421/.915) hitting top form again too.

Considering the gulf in talent and ambition between the Bucks and Nets at this point in the season, Milwaukee will be hoping for a relatively stress-free and professional win on Thursday night.

If they can achieve that with their star trio continuing to play well, and maybe even getting some time to rest, that would be even better.
