PHILADELPHIA 76ERS. A+. The Philadelphia 76ers won 16 straight games, much of them without Joel Embiid, to close out the season and secure the third seed. They won 52 games with a team mostly comprised of young, still learning NBA talent, and they didn’t take their foot off the gas by any measure to close out with this game.
This season has collectively been an outstanding achievement for the 76ers and Brett Brown, and they deserve endless praise.

What they managed to highlight on Wednesday is how all of the things that got them to that point seem to hold up remarkably well, regardless of the stakes, the opponent, or even their own injury issues.

Philly managed to exploit all of Milwaukee’s weaknesses, and they did so by showing an unshakeable nerve and focus, coupled with coherent, repeatable team-based game plans on both ends of the floor.

They wanted to win, and they wrapped it up within a matter of minutes. Good for them.
. Eastern Conference. 52-30
