Milwaukee Bucks Game 1 Preview: April 15 at Boston Celtics

Celtic to watch
Al Horford may not be the Celtics’ scoring leader at the end of Sunday’s game, but he’s certainly the team’s consensus best player.
Horford is worth monitoring closely, as not only will he stuff the stat sheet and influence what the Celtics do in multiple departments, he’s also likely to be the man tasked with trying to slow down Giannis Antetokounmpo.
What makes Horford’s role in this series even more interesting is the fact that he torched the Bucks in their four regular season contests.
In those previous meetings, Horford comfortably outperformed his season scoring averages, to rack up 18.8 points per game on an incredible 70.5 percent from the field and 60 percent from three-point range.
That efficiency should alarm the Bucks, as it’s evidence they’ve had no way to stop Horford throughout the year. On this occasion, he’s likely to get much more attention from Milwaukee defenders, and how that battle plays out could ultimately prove decisive.
