Milwaukee Bucks Game 2 Preview: April 17 at Boston Celtics

It’s hard to know what, if anything, should be relied upon in reflecting on Sunday’s Game 1 between these two teams.
That Game 1 was a thrilling encounter to watch, but included spells of play where it could be argued we saw the best and worst of both teams. Was that a by-product of the matchup that’s set to repeat itself throughout the series? It seems unlikely, but it’s not impossible.
With that in mind, adjustments may be more important than ever in Game 2.
That’s not just because both teams’ respective tweaks may change the way they match up, unknowingly creating new windows of opportunity and weakness that will only be exposed when the game gets underway. But also because there’s a danger of either team making adjustments based on unsustainable elements of their opponents’ play in Game 1, whether positive or negative.
What isn’t in doubt is the importance of this game to the Bucks. Considering Milwaukee’s issues with consistency throughout the year, it would seem inconceivable that they could win four of five games to close the series. If they want to advance, Game 2 may well be essential.
