Finale

For the second season in a row, the Bucks head into Game 5 of a first round series all knotted up at 2-2.

There are a couple of telling differences this time around, though. Rather than losing Game 4 and the momentum that goes with it like they did against Toronto last season, the Bucks carry that with them heading into Game 5 on this occasion.

Even more importantly, they come in as a team equipped with the lessons of last year’s failures, who have been the better team statistically in the series so far, and also have a clear talent advantage on paper.

The Bucks boast the best player on the floor in the series, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and over the past four games, Khris Middleton has played at a level that’s made him the second best. If that duo can continue their excellent play, the Bucks will advance to round two.

Beyond that, for as well as Giannis Antetokounmpo has played in the series and all of the big moments he’s produced, he’s yet to have a singular performance that will stand out for years to come. You know, a signature Giannis game. On the road with a chance to grab this series by the scruff of the neck, could the Greek Freak be set to produce something special in Game 5?
