Major key for Boston – Find some offense

It gets somewhat overlooked as their series opening wins and the series being tied at 3-3 makes the balance seem finer than it is, but the Celtics have really struggled over their last four games. More than anything else, their offense has been to blame for that.

As the Celtics have lost three of the last four games, they’ve managed to score 100 points or more only once.

While early in the series the Celtics were getting enough contributions from across the roster to keep their offense ticking over without Kyrie Irving, that has largely disappeared in the time since.

Even the front line contributors who were leading the way for Boston to start the series have become much less consistent with their output.

Brad Stevens has been stressing the need for his team to move the ball, but as the Bucks have looked increasingly and uncharacteristically disciplined on the defensive end as the series has progressed, that alone may not be enough.

The Celtics need a spark from somewhere, or without one, the pre-series narratives of talent and firepower will come to pass.
