Weaknesses

Considering what has led to him becoming such a big wild card among the players entering this year’s draft, it’s not hard to determine exactly what the concerns surrounding Robinson are entering the draft process.

Having lost a whole year of prime developmental time after bypassing the college level entirely, Robinson certainly stands as more of a long-term project at this point in time.

That might have been the case before Robinson elected to sit out what would have been his freshman year, but the fact that his last meaningful moments of competition came over a year ago and against high school players further emphasizes that point.

Along with that, there are going to be questions brought up by front office personnel across the league regarding Robinson’s maturity, certainly after his saga at Western Kentucky.

Similar questions can be raised after Robinson failed to make the final cut of last year’s Team USA U-19 roster, which may have been affected by him missing the first practice due to reported travel issues.
