Weaknesses

There are two primary areas of concerns in regards to where Holiday stands entering this year’s draft.

For one, although Holiday is armed with a 6’6″ wingspan, his smallish-size at 6’1″ may raise problems on the offensive end when facing against swarming defenders and/or double teams.

Conversely, as much as Holiday is a willing defender, his size limitations will likely be a a point of emphasis on scouting reports for opposing teams when going against more athletic and physically imposing point guards.

Secondly, Holiday is certainly a capable ball handler and playmaker when the opportunity strikes, but there are parts to his deferential play that needs improving. Just this season, Holiday posted 3.8 turnovers to go along with 5.8 assists, making for a 1.53 assist-to-turnover ratio.

All of that and at 21 years old, there will be some questions over how high of a ceiling Holiday possesses to top out his role player potential.
