Strengths

Much of the appeal surrounding Evans lies in his ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor at either wing position.

Offensively, while the North Carolina-born Evans’ percentages from beyond the arc fluctuated in each of his three seasons at Cincinnati, he finished his collegiate career knocking down 37.7 percent from downtown on 4.4 three-point attempts per game.

Although his three-point shooting prowess will be key to bolstering his fit in the NBA, Evans is certainly capable of making smart decisions handling the ball and improved his assist total year over year with the Bearcats.

On the defensive end, Evans is a versatile defender who’s equally bothersome on the ball and helps off the ball with his sound positioning to disrupt actions and/or passing lanes. He certainly boosts his case with his bulldog mentality as well.

Standing at 6’6″ and reportedly armed with a 6’9″ wingspan, Evans will likely be tasked to carry over those responsibilities no matter where he lands in the draft come June 21.
