Game of the season

There shouldn’t really be any debate over Bledsoe’s best game of the season, as one comfortably stands out in spite of a variety of impressive performances from the point guard throughout the season.

The Bucks’ west coast road trip came at a crucial juncture in the season and was comprised almost exclusively of close games. When Milwaukee arrived in Staples Center for their only road clash of the season with the Lakers, it marked a return to a building where they’d blown a fourth quarter lead for a costly loss against the Clippers just three days earlier.

In truth, they did everything in their power to do the same against the Lakers, blowing a 14-point lead in the final 12 minutes to end up in overtime. Then Bledsoe took over.

Bledsoe scored 11 of Milwaukee’s 12 points in overtime as the Bucks prevailed with a two-point victory.

The 28-year-old’s overtime exploits may have secured the win, but they were just the icing on the cake in terms of an incredibly productive night.

Bledsoe finished with a season-high 39 points, six assists, four steals and three rebounds, while shooting 15-of-24 from the field and a remarkable 7-of-12 from deep.
