Strengths

As has long been the case along his stops on the amateur ranks, Diallo is an athletic specimen, all in terms of his speed, agility and vertical explosion.

Diallo made waves during last year’s NBA Draft Combine where he topped out with a 44-inch vertical leap, a mark that stands as the second-highest in the history of the event. While the 19-year-old failed to break that mark this time around, Diallo unsurprisingly managed to perform well across the board at this year’s Combine.

Pairing that with his size (6’6″) and near seven-foot wingspan, Diallo possesses the ideal physical makeup for a modern day NBA wing.

As it relates to his play on the court, Diallo’s athletic gifts are best suited out in the open floor where he is able to create turnovers using his physical tools and turn them into marveling, leaping tomahawk dunks in transition.

Scoring opportunities such as those helped boost Diallo’s finishing percentages at the basket this year as he put home 75 of his 115 attempts at the rim (64.1 percent), according to Will Schreefer’s shot chart tool over at The Stepien.
