Milwaukee Bucks: Meeting the 2018 NBA Summer League roster
Jae’Sean Tate
After going undrafted this year, Jae’Sean Tate locked down a deal to play for the Bucks in Summer League following the completion of this year’s draft.
Tate is fresh off of wrapping all four of his years on the collegiate level at Ohio State University and ended his time in Columbus on a high note as he garnered All-Big Ten Second Team honors at the end of his senior season.
Described as the Buckeyes’ emotional leader through some of their recent lean years, Tate plays larger than the size he boasts as an undersized wing and lives exclusively at the rim, due to sporting serious range shooting deficiencies.
Per Will Schreefer’s shot chart tool over at The Stepien, Tate converted 126 of his 183 attempts at the rim this year (68.9 percent), ranking him in the 77th percentile among wings around the country.
If he can continue refining his ball-handling abilities and improve his playmaking, the Ohio native may be an interesting player to deploy along his stops on the next level.
