Pistons’ young talent

The Bucks’ first Summer League action of 2018 doesn’t see them matched up against any of the top stars of recent drafts, but that’s not to say the Pistons don’t have an intriguing mix of young talent.

Perhaps of particular interest to those in Milwaukee will be the presence of former Marquette standout Henry Ellenson, who is preparing for his third NBA season having yet to make any meaningful impact in Detroit.

Detroit’s 2017 lottery pick is also on the team’s roster for Las Vegas as former Duke sharpshooter Luke Kennard will look to start building upon what was a very solid rookie season where he shot 41.4 percent from deep.

In a much more recent sense, the Pistons will also likely give debuts to their duo of second round picks in last month’s draft. The backcourt pair of Khyri Thomas and Bruce Brown Jr. certainly make for intriguing prospects who may have the ability to help Detroit sooner rather than later, and a positive start in that sense would be some positive play and success in Summer League.
