Who’s next for a star turn?

Through the first two games of the Bucks’ 2018 play in Las Vegas, one element has stood out as a dominant theme.

While Bucks roster duo Sterling Brown and D.J. Wilson have performed adequately, there has been a somewhat surprising standout performer for the team in each of their games against the Pistons and Mavericks respectively.

Against Detroit, Christian Wood starred with 23 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, while it was Travis Trice who stood out against Dallas, with 16 points, three assists, and a number of important plays at timely moments to keep the Bucks alive late in the game.

As players like Wood and Trice fight for a potential future in the NBA or a lucrative pay day overseas, there’s every reason to believe another one of the more unsung members of the Summer League Bucks could come up with a noteworthy performance on Monday night.

Jordan Barnett was another player who played extremely well on Sunday, and certainly looks to have the capabilities of kicking on further with an even more assertive offering against the Nuggets, while although consistency has been an issue so far, the Herd’s James Blackmon Jr. has also hinted at the possibility of a breakout game of his own.
