Concerning takeaway
In what can officially be considered a trend throughout their Summer League stint this year, the Bucks were unable to capitalize from beyond the arc against the Nuggets on Monday night.
On the night, the Bucks shot 8-of-30 from three-point range (26.7 percent) while the Nuggets comparatively knocked down 11 of their 22 attempts from that level of the floor.
Now shooting 27.2 percent on the 81 three-point attempts they’ve logged through their three games in Vegas after last night, there hasn’t been a lack of trying on the Bucks’ part as they have increasingly set up looks from three-point land in each passing game.
Unfortunately, the more proven range shooters the Bucks’ brass assembled for their Summer League roster such as Jordan Barnett and James Blackmon Jr. have yet to make their mark in that area on a consistent basis thus far.
Additionally, the absence of Donte DiVincenzo, who was sidelined for the third straight game with a right groin strain, hasn’t helped matters either in that sense, considering the three-point markmanship he displayed during his time with the Villanova Wildcats.
