Malcolm Brogdon
Brogdon on the team’s offseason workouts:
"“It’s been very beneficial, whether learning how we play together, learning how we function off the court. We’ve got new guys, we’ve got Pat, Ersan and Brook, a new coaching staff, so I think it’s really helped and I think it will help us down the line having an early start and being together at this time.”"
Brogdon on how the offseason has helped him to move further past last season’s injury:
"“When I came back from that injury, I feel like I got back to where I was before, and now I feel like I’ve gotten better. I’ve progressed even further. I feel like it was important to get back to that baseline as far as health goes, and now I was able to really build on that this summer and continue to get better, continue to get healthier and stronger. For me, this summer, a lot of it was about making sure my legs were strong. I was always told when I first got in the league, your legs will go before anything else, because it’s such a long season and it can be very rigorous. I didn’t really heed that advice, I didn’t really lift with my legs, but now this summer that injury really put stuff in perspective.”"
