Providing stability off the bench

With both Bledsoe and Brogdon comfortably slotting ahead of him at the point guard spot on the Bucks’ depth chart, Dellavedova’s place as the team’s third guard is firmly set in stone.

There has been plenty of evidence throughout his Bucks run suggesting that may be the best role for him, if we’re being honest. With that, Dellavedova will be among those who the Bucks will be looking to in hope of improving their bench unit’s productivity.

That’s no easy task after the Bucks’ bench crew logged the fourth-fewest amount of minutes last year and packed a dismal scoring punch by scoring the fourth-fewest amount of points of teams around the league.

Considering the few additions the Bucks made via the draft and in free agency on this front, there’s some reason for mild optimism that their bench issues may be resolved or show some improvements in the coming season (nowhere to go but up, right?)

Dellavedova certainly doesn’t project to be a scoring dynamo now or in the future, but doing his part to steer the ship and set up quality looks for others and occasionally for himself may do just the trick for the Bucks.
