Milwaukee Bucks: One bold prediction for every player
By Robby Cowles
Matthew Dellavedova
Prediction: Will be ejected in multiple games
Why it will happen: With the additions of Connaughton and DiVincenzo and the emergence of Brown, Delly is likely to see a cut in his playing time this upcoming season.
However, this prediction is based on the fact the Bucks will be better than last season and therefore be winning more games. As we saw when in Cleveland playing with LeBron, Delly is never more of a pest than when he’s on a good team.
Opponents are angry they’re losing, and then in comes this scrappy little Australian with a penchant for stirring the pot and maybe inadvertently trying to twist your ankle. It’s a recipe for intense emotions and scrums that result in multiple flagrant and technical fouls.
Opponents are going to be less likely to deal with Delly’s shenanigans when they’re getting beaten and dunked on by Giannis, and Delly is going to try to contribute to the team in other meaningful ways with his decrease in playing times.
Therefore, Delly is going to fully embrace his role as an enforcer and instigator and will be involved in multiple instances of ejections being handed out.
Why it won’t happen: He won’t see the court enough to even get ejected.
