Donte DiVincenzo

Prediction: Will score more than 20 points in at least one game

Why it will happen: DiVincenzo made his name known in NBA circles with his 31-point game in the NCAA National Championship game for Villanova against Michigan. It was his best game of the season, but not the first time he showed explosive scoring.

Despite mostly playing an off-the-bench role, DiVincenzo scored 20 points or more six times in his last season with Villanova. Pretty impressive for a guy off the bench in college.

It remains to be seen how much DiVincenzo will be part of Budenholzer’s rotations during the regular season, but it seems he’ll at least be given a chance to earn a role off the bench. Once DiVincenzo settles into the NBA, all it takes is one hot night for The Big Ragu to go off.

Why it won’t happen: In the Bucks first preseason game, DiVincenzo went just 1-of-9 from the field. Including his summer league stats, DiVincenzo is 1-of-17 while shooting wearing a Milwaukee uniform so far.

That seems, uh, not good.
