Wisconsin Herd: Meeting the 2018-19 opening night roster
Travis Trice II
Travis Trice II joins the Herd to make his return to the G League after spending the last couple of seasons playing overseas.
Trice should be a familiar name to all Bucks fans by now after he has suited up for the team in each of their last two Summer League runs in Las Vegas. This last year was an especially solid one for the Michigan State alum after he averaged 8.8 points on shooting splits of .432/.455/.500, 4 assists and 3.2 rebounds in the Bucks’ five Summer League contests.
After spending the last two years playing in Australia for both the Cairns Taipens and the Brisbane Bullets in the National Basketball League as well as logging a brief stint in Lebanon for Champville SC, Trice is back stateside to resume his G League career after previous playing for the Westchester Knicks during the 2015-16 season.
With the veteran presence he, along with Garbis, provides next to a prospect like Duval, it will be interesting to see how much of that contrast will go in bolstering the Herd’s point guard play throughout the coming year.
