Making his transition to playing in the United States, Greek point guard Kanellos Garbis will be donning green and cream for his first foray into G League action. Garbis comes to the Herd by way of this year’s G League draft where the Herd selected him in the third round.

As my fellow co-site expert Adam McGee pointed out upon his selection in this year’s G League draft, Garbis does hold a connection with fellow Greek citizen and Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Garbis spent last year playing in the Greek second division for Arkadikos B.C. and in his 30 appearances with the club, the 25-year-old averaged 7.47 points on shooting splits of .415/.272/.758, 3.1 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals.
