Robert Johnson

Another undrafted product from this year’s draft, Robert Johnson is the first of three affiliate players the Herd have brought on to their roster, per their release on the training camp roster.

Johnson is fresh off of completing his collegiate career where he spent all four years of his eligibility at Indiana University. During his four years with the Hoosiers, Johnson developed into a solid sharpshooter after averaging 10.9 points per game on shooting splits of .438/.389/.695. throughout that span.

After finding a brief home with the Atlanta Hawks for this year’s Summer League both in Salt lake City and in Las Vegas, the Bucks brought in Johnson in a flurry of transactions in mid-to-late September, where he promptly signed an Exhibit 10 deal as ESPN’s Bobby Marks noted at the time.

Perhaps their interest was sparked after bringing the 23-year-old for a draft workout during the pre-draft process, but in any event, we’ll look to see Johnson take the first steps in his journey as a pro and aspiring NBA player.
