Breakneck pace

If you happen to blink or look down to check your phone while watching Sunday’s game at Fiserv Forum, you won’t just possibly miss a spectacular highlight, but you could in fact miss a couple of possessions also.

The Bucks have stood out in terms of their intent to push the pace, particularly when inbounding, in the early stretch of the season, but the Kings take that same concept and push it even further.

While Milwaukee ranks sixth in the NBA in terms of pace with a stellar 105.5 possessions per game, the Kings are in second place, behind only the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 107.7 possessions per game.

For Dave Joerger’s team, that effort starts with second year point guard De’Aaron Fox, who has dazzled with his all-around play in the early season, but it trickles far beyond him throughout a young, athletic and energetic roster.

Unlike Orlando and Memphis, two of Sacramento’s recently vanquished foes, the Bucks should be well-suited to a high-paced clash with the Kings, and it may well set up an exceptional offensive battle.
