Milwaukee Bucks: 3 takeaways from 134-111 win over Golden State Warriors
Two tickets to the Bledshow
Flanking Antetokounmpo with a star-like performance of his own, Eric Bledsoe turned in what arguably was his most dominant individual showing he’s put in over the year and change he’s worn a Bucks uniform.
Having the unenviable task of having to shadow Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, Bledsoe put in a memorable defensive performance that left the two-time MVP bothered for much of the night, whether looking to get his own shot off from rather low quality looks by his standards or setting up scoring opportunities for his teammates.
As sterling as Bledsoe’s defensive services were on the night, his penchant for putting his head down and attacking the basket at a high level, knocking down his pair of triples, and finding seams to connect with his teammates for scores put the exclamation point on his overall night.
All in all, the Birmingham native led the Bucks with 26 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the field (2-of-3 from deep, 4-of-6 from the foul line), six assists, four rebounds, three turnovers, one steal and was a +30 in just over 26 minutes of run.
Considering the level of competition it came against and the fact that it came off of his woeful performance last time out against the Blazers, Bledsoe bounced back in spectacular fashion on Thursday and hopefully, that can carry him through the Bucks’ final two games on this trip over the weekend.
