Milwaukee Bucks: Ranking the 10 best jerseys in franchise history
2. The silhouette (1995 – 1999)
Enter my 90s decade bias. The best music and the best NBA jerseys, and neither seem all that close. If a 90s jersey didn’t have a completely flamboyant color scheme or off-the-wall logo, it was a giant waste of an era for that franchise.
There was no line drawn with design creativity, and nothing was considered overboard. Jerseys looked like they were drawn in elementary school art class, which just so happens to fit my timeline and again feeds my bias perfectly.
You have to either be all-in on this era or absolutely despise the non-traditionalism. There was an angry dinosaur on a purple jersey, bear claws on teal shorts , a rocket ship flying through space, a rainbow over the Rocky Mountains, and a hawk smothering a basketball.
Enter a shadow of a buck appearing below blended purple and white blizzard-feel lettering and you suddenly have your flashy fifth grade art project which doubles as the en vogue 90s jersey.
