Milwaukee Bucks: Ranking the 10 best jerseys in franchise history
10. Miller Brewing greens (Road – Mid 1970’s)
This was the final road jersey Kareem Abdul Jabbar would wear as a Milwaukee Bucks player in 1975.
As much as green and red don’t belong together as the two primary colors on any uniform, this one makes it work surprisingly well.
The white outline certainly helps, and the upward sloping cursive is eerily similar to the famous Miller Brewing Company logo. After scouring the internet for rumors of this being the inspiration, I have come up empty.
Still, this is further evidence of whatever can be made to work with green and red not making it out of the first decade of Bucks jersey design.
