Milwaukee Bucks: 3 takeaways from 120-107 win over Boston Celtics
Snell’s bells
Moving on to another Bucks player who has been feeling hot, hot, hot like Antetokounmpo, Tony Snell continues to make his mark in his role off the team’s bench.
As the Bucks were starting to separate themselves from Boston throughout the first quarter, Snell added to their strong play by reaching double figures by the end of the period with a pair of triples and confidently driving to the basket for scores.
Snell’s scoring pace went down from that point on in the game, but one more triple as well as a running banker off the glass placed him as the leading scorer off the Bucks’ bench unit, which finished with 40 points for the night.
All in all, the sixth-year wing posted a season-high 15 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting from the field (3-of-3 from deep), three turnovers, two rebounds, one assist and was even in terms of his plus-minus in nearly 18-and-a-half minutes.
With this being the third straight game where he’s scored double digits and served meaningful minutes off the bench and in a spot start, Snell’s return to form continues to fly under the radar throughout the Bucks’ successful season.
