A rare sweep is in play

Heading into the final game of the regular season, only one team has managed to sweep their series with the Bucks over the course of the year. Going even further, that instance marks the only team that has managed to beat the Bucks on multiple occasions this year.

The fact that it’s the 19-win Phoenix Suns, who will finish tied for the second worst record in the NBA, makes for a strange quirk that seems set up to puzzle Bucks fans in quiz questions for years to come.

Having said that, the Suns may not finish as the only team to achieve two wins against Milwaukee.

Following a 118-112 win in Oklahoma City back in January, the Thunder will visit Fiserv Forum for the first time with a chance to follow in the Suns’ footsteps, and they’ll have the motivation required to secure a win.

The Thunder beat the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night, and with a win against the Bucks they’ll seal the sixth seed in the West. That’s particularly vital as a loss for Oklahoma City could see them fall to eighth and book a first round series with the Golden State Warriors.

Expect a strong and engaged Thunder team that’s determined to avoid that fate.
