Let it fly

This may veer off our usual path of recapping games, but with Wednesday night being far from a usual experience from what we have seen out of the Bucks this season, a little change is in order.

Midway through the second quarter of the Bucks’ tilt with the Thunder, the team paid homage to their hallmark song throughout their “Big 3” era during the early 2000’s, “Light It Up.” Called “Let It Fly,” various Bucks players appeared in the clip miming the lyrics and providing the proper hype in preparation for their playoff run.

For all the generations of Bucks fans that have a soft spot for the track and what it represents in the recent history of the franchise, it was certainly a treat to see it revived and updated, especially during a historic season.

Now that we’re in full playoff mode, expect the catchy song to be in heavy rotation throughout Fiserv Forum in the weeks and months to come. And get ready to soak up every minute of the Bucks’ impending playoff run, folks.
