Weaknesses

The biggest concern regarding Kabengele at this stage in his game is refining the raw athleticism, skill and tools he possesses.

Despite his shot blockng expertise and his overall impact on the defensive end, Kabnegele regularly plays himself into foul trouble (Kabengele averaged 4.8 fouls per 40 minutes during his sophomore year, which was a downturn from the 5.8 fouls he committed the previous year under that per minute basis).

The same could be applied to Kabengele’s technique in the times he’s forced to box out and fend off opponents on the glass and defending in one-on-one situations.

As far his shooting touch is concerned, the biggest question will be whether Kabengele’s effectiveness spacing the floor can hold up on a higher volume and under a more maximized role, should he become a starting caliber big man down the road in his development.

And Kabengele lacks plenty of polish in finding teammates with the ball in his hands in the times he’s swarmed by defenders and/or can make the next pass to put points on the board.
