Milwaukee Bucks 2018-19 Season Review: Malcolm Brogdon
By Adam McGee
The worst of Brogdon
The low point of Brogdon’s season is incredibly obvious, in large part due to the fact there isn’t a whole lot of competition for that title.
The picture of consistency throughout the season, and boasting strong all-around play and contributions, there were very few holes in Brogdon’s game when he was on the court this season. Instead, the low came in the form of injury.
For the second season running, the back half of Brogdon’s season was majorly disrupted by injury, with a plantar fascia tear acting as the cause of his spell on the sidelines this time around.
Brogdon had been playing with the discomfort of the injury for quite some time, and performing admirably under the circumstances, but when the time came to undergo surgery, he ended up missing the final 18 games of the campaign.
At this point, Brogdon has amassed a collection of different injuries across his time in college and the NBA. That’s certainly a cause for concern, although the way in which he returned from this particular setback in the playoffs proved to be very reassuring.
