Strengths

Standing at 6’11” and coming in at 210 lbs., Porter offers a very modernized offensive skill set at the center position.

For starters, Porter is incredibly adept with the ball in his hands, with his ability to read the floor, whether at the top of the key or in the post, and pick out passes to cutting teammates being a prime asset in his game.

It also informs his smooth dribble drive game as he’s able to attack opponents with a whole variety of tricks and ball skills to get to the cup or at least, in the paint.

Porter pairs his strong playmaking with his natural shooting touch and he’s had no trouble extending out to three-point range and on a high volume of attempts too (46.2 percent of Porter’s shots during his lone year at Missouri came from beyond the arc).

And despite the number of athletic and physical concerns he carries defensively when healthy, Porter has a keen sense of defending within the construct of his team’s defensive scheme, as far as rotations are concerned.
