Milwaukee Bucks 2018-19 Season Review: D.J. Wilson
The worst of Wilson
While Wilson has certainly improved his body and strength over the course of his Bucks tenure, his occasional struggles with embracing physicality resurfaced, especially against more imposing and veteran big men around the league.
It certainly influenced his finishing around the basket as Wilson converted just 56.1 percent of his 66 attempts within the restricted area and that will certainly be a point of emphasis in his development to maintain his frontcourt versatility.
Along with that, Wilson will have to shore up his struggles from the free throw line after shooting 55.3 percent on his 47 attempts for the season.
The former Wolverine did post a solid shooting year in spite of that as previously mentioned, but it does show that Wilson will have to continue honing his shot and smoothing out his mechanics to round out his overall shooting proficiency.
