Milwaukee Bucks 2018-19 Season Review: Khris Middleton
By Adam McGee
Summer focus and final grade
In many ways, Khris Middleton’s summer is more simple than many of his Bucks teammates, as at the very least it’s clearly mapped out for him.
First and foremost, Middleton is facing the most important free agency of his entire career, and what will almost certainly end up being his biggest pay day.
Middleton will undoubtedly have suitors from elsewhere around the NBA, but the Bucks will likely be very eager to have him remain in Milwaukee, and he’s indicated that he feels similarly.
Once Middleton’s future is resolved, he’ll also have a USA Basketball training camp to look forward to later in the summer. It’s not Middleton’s first time receiving such an honor, and considering his increased status in the game and his playing style, he may even go on to make the final squad for the FIBA World Cup.
As for Middleton’s work on his game this summer, it’s important that he recognizes some of the ups and downs that accompanied his first All-Star season. If Middleton does re-sign with the Bucks, the hope will be that he ends up more comfortable in his role and adjusted shot diet for next season.
