Strengths

For starters, Roby possesses all the right tools, both physically and athletically, that are necessary for him to operate at both forward spots.

The combination of all those qualities really shine on the defensive end as Roby was an incredibly productive, impactful defender all throughout his time in Lincoln. His sound fundamentals, as well as his instincts, make him well suited to take on an all-purpose, versatile role on the next level, whether on the perimeter or protecting the paint, to further reinforce his services on that end.

While Roby’s offensive skill package isn’t quite as sturdy by comparison, the Illinois native’s developed handle is a staple in his game and he’s quite comfortable generating scoring opportunities for himself in the open floor or when attacking closeouts. And Roby’s explosive hops are always soon to follow if he gets a full head of steam when he has his sights set on the basket.

Roby is also quite adept at playing from the post as his size and his deft touch with both hands is just another way for him to attack opponents.
