Strengths

When exploring Edwards’ strong suits, everything starts and ends with his dynamic shooting ability.

As everyone who caught Purdue’s run throughout the NCAA Tournament is acutely aware of, Edwards can fill it up, especially from three-point range, in a variety of different ways. Case in point, 49.6 percent of Edwards’ total shot selection over his three years at Purdue came from beyond the arc and he finished with a 36.8 percent clip on his 763 total three-point attempts.

But it’s Edwards’ ability to knock down shots off the dribble consistently and at a high volume that may be the most alluring weapon in his arsenal and only boosts his profile as a microwave scorer. And to do so from well behind three-point line makes that asset in his game all the more appealing.

For all those reasons, Edwards’ spark plug nature will surely translate to the next level.
