Zach Lofton
Reuniting with teammate Johnny Hamilton, Zach Lofton comes to the Bucks’ Summer League squad after wrapping up his first professional season.
Lofton spent the last year with the Detroit Pistons organization where he worked his way up from their Summer League roster to signing a two-way contract before the start of their 2018-19 campaign. However, Lofton was cut loose from his two-way deal midway through the year, but still remained in house by sticking with their G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive.
In his 24 appearances with the Drive, Lofton averaged 13.2 points on .405/.252/.757 shooting splits, 3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals over 25.3 minutes per contest.
With all of that following what was a nomadic collegiate career that spanned four schools and started with the 26-year-old attending San Jacinto Community College, Lofton seems well-equipped with the many travels and overall uncertainty that comes throughout the professional setting.
