Luke Maye

Our next undrafted rookie, Luke Maye joins the Bucks’ Summer League squad after finishing up his four years at the University of North Carolina.

Arriving at Chapel Hill as a walk on, Maye’s hard work and perseverance paid off as he slowly rose through the ranks under famed head coach Roy Williams’ program for the first two seasons of his collegiate career.

While Maye was crowned an NCAA champion during his sophomore season back in 2016-17, it was his junior campaign where he blossomed into an integral contributor for the Tar Heels by averaging double-double figures (16.6 points per game, 10.9 rebounds per game) and eventually be named the 2018 ACC Most Improved Player.

The 22-year-old averaged 9.9 points on .460/.361/.675 shooting splits, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 21.1 minutes per contest in 141 career appearances with the Tar Heels.
