Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Much like all but one of the players mentioned in this list, the only reason Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is still available in free agency, let alone in this potential price range, is that he’s never demonstrated the ability to knock down shots consistently.

In fact, “consistently” could easily be replaced by “at all” in that statement, as Hollis-Jefferson has attempted only 0.8 threes per game and made a miserable 22.3 percent from deep over the course of his four-year career to date.

Still, some flaws are to be expected when it comes to the players the Bucks can expect to be picking from at this price range, and it’s by no means all doom and gloom when it comes to Hollis-Jefferson.

Hollis-Jefferson is tremendously versatile on the defensive end of the floor, having shown flashes of being able to cover positions 1 through 4 using his combination of size, speed and athleticism.

That same athleticism allows Hollis-Jefferson to be an excellent rebounder for his size, while he’s also more competent as a passer than he likely gets credit for.

At 24 years old and with solid if unspectacular production to date, it’s hard not think there may still be some untapped potential in the former Arizona Wildcat. That may be enough to make him worth a gamble.
