Daulton Hommes
Even following the addition of Wesley Matthews, if any uncertainty remains surrounding Milwaukee’s wing depth, Daulton Hommes may have a chance to make a real impression over the next couple of weeks.
Hommes shouldn’t be daunted by the Summer League setting after an outstanding junior year at Point Loma Nazarene University allowed him to showcase his scoring ability, picking up Division II Player of the Year honors in the process.
Scoring over 20 points per game on near 50-40-90 shooting splits in 31.4 minutes per game gives an indicator of Hommes’ talent, as does the close relationship he built up with Gordon Hayward as his workout partner during the former All-Star wing’s recovery from injury.
It remains a definite question at this point, but if Hommes demonstrates a similar ability to score during his time in Las Vegas, it’s very possible that the Bucks or another NBA team may opt to snap him up for a training camp look or a two-way deal at the very least.
