7. Eric Bledsoe

Seasons: 2

Averages: 16.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists (48 FG%, 33.8 3PT%)

Awards: NBA All-Defensive First Team (2019)

Eric Bledsoe’s career in Milwaukee was almost over before it really began. After the Bucks had traded fellow All-Decade inductee Greg Monroe and a future first round pick for the guard out of Kentucky, he rewarded the Bucks with one of the worst Playoff meltdowns of all time. Bledsoe had put together a fine regular season but completely lost the plot, against what many considered to be an inferior guard in Terry Rozier, as Milwaukee failed to progress out of the first round in 2018.

Fast forward to this past season and while Bledsoe still created more problems than solutions in the playoffs, he did put together one of the finer regular seasons for a Bucks point guard since the turn of the century. Bledsoe was unlucky to miss out on the All-Star team, with some even suggesting he was more deserving than teammate Khris Middleton.

Bledsoe was ultimately rewarded for his efforts with a selection on to the First Team All-Defensive team, along with team mate Giannis Antetokounmpo. The pair were the first Bucks players to receive the accolade since Alvin Robertson in 1991 and they helped the Bucks to become statistically, the best defensive team in the league.

Bledsoe also improved his three-point shot, becoming an occasional threat from outside, while scoring from two-point range at an impressively high rate (third, only to Brook Lopez and Antetokounmpo, who also recorded their feats in the same season).

Bledsoe has been a fantastic addition to this Bucks roster and, as such, deserves his place on this All-Decade team. He will likely share sixth man duties with the next player to come on this list and was unlucky to not win the starting point guard spot on this team.
