Milwaukee Bucks: NBA 2K20 ratings, progressions for every player
By Adam McGee
9. Kyle Korver – 2K20 Rating: 75
From a gameplay point of view, Kyle Korver has a strong case for being the most exciting addition to the Bucks’ roster this offseason. Just as is the case in real life, the prospect of surrounding Giannis with the sharpshooting of Kyle Korver in 2K20 is tantalizing to say the least.
It’s no surprise that Korver ranks as comfortably the Bucks’ best three-point shooter, coming equipped with a 3PT rating of 86 in this year’s game. Having said that, that rating leaves him as just the 21st best three-point shooter in the game, which is patently ridiculous.
If you can figure out how Dante Cunningham, a career 34.5 percent three-point shooter has an 88 3PT rating after shooting 46.2 percent on just 65 attempts last season, while Korver, a career 42.9 percent deep shooter who made 39.7 percent of his 348 attempts last season, comes in six points below him, please let me know.
What makes that all the more puzzling is Korver’s overall rating has climbed up a point from his end of season mark of 74 in 2K19. Given Korver is 38 years old, overall regression is to be expected but there’s little reason to believe a major drop-off in his shooting is forthcoming.
If Korver does benefit from Antetokounmpo’s influence in a way that’s easy to imagine, he could prove to be a major riser over the course of the year.
