14. Frank Mason III – 2K20 Rating: 71
Managing to nab Frank Mason III on a two-way contract seemed like something of a steal for the Bucks, and this rating and where it places Mason among the rest of the roster, should only offer further confirmation of that.
Mason’s skill was clear from his National College Player of the Year winning days with Kansas, but even with limited opportunity in Sacramento, the 25-year-old offered glimpses of the steady NBA backup he could still grow into.
That was largely backed up by the slight improvement found in Mason’s rating across the course of the season in NBA 2K19. Mason also started last season’s game rated as a 71, but within the first five weeks of the season he climbed to a 72 and held on to that rating for the remainder of the year.
In that regard, it might be a little harsh for Mason to drop back down to a 71, but given he no longer holds a regular NBA roster spot, it’s somewhat understandable.
