Milwaukee Bucks: NBA 2K20 ratings, progressions for every player
By Adam McGee
10. Pat Connaughton – 2K20 Rating: 74
Few Bucks saw their rating fluctuate quite as much as Pat Connaughton’s did in NBA 2K19, and therefore a solid starting base of 74 in 2K20 could really act as a jumping off point for similar significant shifts this year.
Connaughton opened up 2K19 with a 73 rating, yet early season shooting slumps quickly saw him drop down to 72. That low ebb only lasted two weeks before Connaughton leaped up to 74, before taking a further step to 75 for a three-week high point just prior to midseason.
In that regard, Connaughton begins 2K20 at the same rating he finished last year’s game on, which may be just a little harsh considering how well the 26-year-old wing performed at times in the playoffs.
The uncertainty and wide open nature of the Bucks’ situation at shooting guard means Connaughton has real opportunity in the months ahead, and in a contract year it would be no surprise to see him really step up and seize that chance. I wouldn’t put a 76 or 77 rating beyond Pat at some point this season.
Lastly, although his 80 dunk rating is sufficient for producing some Connaughton highlights in-game, the former Notre Dame man’s standout athleticism creates a good case that it could be even higher.
