6. Fri, Dec. 6, Milwaukee Bucks vs Los Angeles Clippers
Arena: Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee WI
TV: Fox Sports Wisconsin
This matchup could definitely be a Finals preview. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were able to team up in LA this offseason, instantly making them a championship contender, and probably the favorites. By this game, Paul George will foreseeably be back from his injury, and the Clippers will be full go.
This is a measuring stick game for the Bucks. We already know the Bucks can compete with everyone, but this will give us a nice insight into how good these teams really are. Plus, the Bucks need to get revenge on Kawhi for taking the Eastern Conference title from them last season.
5. Thu, Dec. 19, Milwaukee Bucks vs Los Angeles Lakers
Arena: Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee, WI
TV: TNT
LeBron James and Anthony Davis come to town for their first and only time of the regular season. This could also be an NBA Finals preview. Like the game against the Clippers, this is another measuring stick game for the Bucks.
Nobody packs a one-two-punch quite like the Lakers. LeBron is arguably the best player ever, and he’s still going strong, and Davis is feeling rejuvenated after getting out of New Orleans. Both players have a lot to prove coming off such tumultuous seasons last year.
The 2020 NBA MVP may well be playing in this game, which makes it very intriguing.
