Rayjon Tucker
Rounding out our look at the Herd’s 2019-20 opening night roster is a player that Bucks fans have steadily become aware of over the last few months, that being Rayjon Tucker.
Tucker latched on to the Bucks’ Summer League squad where he got plenty of run throughout their time in Las Vegas and he stood as an intriguing bright spot where he averaged 10.2 points on 15-of-35 shooting from the field (42.9 percent) and 7-for-17 from deep (41.2 percent), along with 3.6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal over 19.8 minutes per game.
After reportedly looking to lock down a two-way contract elsewhere following his run with the Bucks this summer, Tucker returned to Milwaukee after signing an Exhibit 10 deal to pave the path for him to join the Herd following the Bucks’ preseason.
The 22-year-old split his collegiate career first at Florida Gulf Coast University before transferring to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and put up impressive numbers as a leading contributor by averaging 20.3 points on .491/.411/.777 shooting splits, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals over 30 appearances last year.
You can catch the start to the Herd’s 2019-20 season on Friday night when they host the Windy City Bulls at Menominee Nation Arena for a 7 p.m. central time tip off.
