The Bledshow headlines out West

Antetokounmpo’s play will always captivate the masses in the NBA world and that’s certainly been the case over the Bucks’ now-wrapped up road trip out West.

With that said, he’s had some help in the form of Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has stepped up his game over the Bucks’ road trek and looks to have shed his early struggles following a shortened preseason due to his rib cartilage injury.

That came to a head in the Bucks’ win over the Thunder as Bledsoe rose up to the occasion and put together his most complete performance to date this season. The 29-year-old ended up with 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field (3-for-6 from long range, 4-for-4 from the free throw line), nine assists, three rebounds, three turnovers, one block and was a +4 in over 29 minutes of run.

Bledsoe followed Antetokounmpo’s lead by coming on strong throughout the second half where 19 of his 25 total points came and he was incredibly dynamic between finding the cup for strong finishes, getting to the free throw line and hitting all three of his triples over that span. The same goes for his playmaking as Bledsoe was finding his teammates with ease and a variety of dimes to compile his season-high nine assists.

It all put a fitting cap on Bledsoe’s strong individual play throughout the Bucks’ road trip where it looks as if the veteran floor general has finally found his groove after experiencing his preseason injury setback.

We’ll just have to see if Bledsoe can sustain his level of play as the Bucks continue to settle into their season.

The Bucks will enjoy a three-day layoff before hosting their I-94 rival in the Chicago Bulls at Fiserv Forum Thursday night for a 7pm CT showdown.
