Reunion on hold?

For all of the anticipation and focus, and after a couple of days of juicy quotes from both sides, there’s a very strong possibility that the Bucks’ first chance to go up against Malcolm Brogdon will have to be postponed for a later date.

In the Pacers’ Friday night clash with the Rockets in Houston, Brogdon left the game with back spasms in the first quarter, and didn’t return as the Pacers ultimately fell to a 111-102 defeat.

According to The Athletic’s Scott Agness, Brogdon’s status for the Bucks game is currently uncertain.

For as much as Brogdon will likely be desperate to face off against his former teammates on Saturday, he’s increasingly become far too important to the Pacers for it to be likely he’ll be risked if he’s not feeling 100 percent.

Perhaps a welcome surprise and a speedy recovery could be on the cards, but at this point it looks entirely possible that we’ll have to wait until December 22 at Fiserv Forum for Brogdon’s first on-court reacquaintance with the Bucks.
