5. Sign Joe Johnson

The Bucks were reported as having an interest in Joe Johnson coming off of his impressive BIG-3 Championship MVP season. However, the 38-year-old would ultimately sign with the Pistons before being cut at the end of the preseason.

Johnson may not be the “ISO Joe” that we once knew in Brooklyn, but he still deserves a chance to prove himself as the former All-Star attempts an NBA comeback.

Johnson’s shooting is just what the Bucks need, and he would fit quite nicely with the current roster. In particular, some of those ISO scoring traits could come in useful in replacing some of the possessions where Middleton occasionally bails the Bucks out of tough stretches with a bucket.

With the Bucks taking an interest in him before his signing with Detroit, it would come as no surprise if Johnson was to be considered an option by the Milwaukee front office.

Considering the multiple guarantee dates in Dragan Bender‘s contract, if the Bucks feel the need to open up a roster spot, they have an avenue to do so too.
